Janet Price

I’m a Feminist QueerCrip activist, I’ve been involved in disability arts for over 15 years, a field from which I’ve learnt many life lessons. I also write occasional articles on feminist disability theory around embodiment, intersectionality and interdependence and I prefer to write with others, not alone. I try to work across the global North and South, passing ideas from the majority world to the minority, and sharing disability arts ideas broadly. Am currently trying to understand how decolonising ideas impact upon my ideas and activities in life.
I despair of most of our current politicians, try to act locally for global change and am involved in environmental activity locally. I grow our own fruit & vegetables and love it. I keep on dancing, spinning my wheelchair, as I try to speed up the revolution.
