Together for Yes- Campaign for Abortion Rights in Ireland

Maria Ni Fhlatharta is a legal researcher, policy advisor and human rights advocate. She currently works on the Real Productive Justice Project at the Centre for Disability, Law and Policy. Previously, Maria worked in the headquarters of Ireland’s campaign to liberalise its abortion laws- Together For Yes. Maria was also part of People with Disabilities for Repeal, an organisation which aimed to amplify the voice of disabled women in the referendum debate. She is the co-founder of Disabled Women Ireland.

Maria completed her graduation in Law, and a masters in Comparative International Disability Law and Policy. In the past, Maria has worked on LGBTQ rights, working family rights and housing rights.
